Training Program

Introduction

We believe that our people make our business. We exist because we find and recruit the brilliant ones. We want people who are tough, team oriented, and willing to pound the pavement, persevere and commit to making Coyote the best 3PL experience for everyone.

We start training with a four-week classroom session to grip the basics. After this we’ll switch to another four week supervised operational phase to really get you immersed. Finally we’ll finish off with a nine month apprenticeship program. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry (well hopefully you won’t cry), but what you’ll finish with is a brilliant start in the industry and an opportunity to join the fastest-growing 3PL company in the country.

Classroom Phase

Week one: Overview of Transportation Industry. Introduction to the Technology Platform.

Week two: Supervised Troubleshooting with Truck Drivers. Introduction to Tracking Loads.

Week three: Independent Load Tracking. Introduction to Multimodal Carrier Sales.

Week four: Independent Carrier and Customer Service Practice. Review of Tech System.

Supervised Operational Phase

Upon completion of the classroom phase, new employees "hit the phones" to become familiar with our customer and carrier base. They work with the current market, customer needs, and carrier capabilities.

Apprenticeship Phase

Employees learn the trade by working under a Senior Account Manager.
