Chicago, IL—March 28, 2016—CEO Jeff Silver has been named to the second annual “Food Logistics Champions: Rock Stars of the Supply Chain,” an award that celebrates the talented trailblazers and inspirational mentors whose work in the food and beverage industry deserves acknowledgement and appreciation.
“I’m honored to be recognized as a Food Logistics Champion,” says Silver. “This award also belongs to Coyote’s 2,000 employees and the work they do daily to support customers, carriers, and each other. I’m humbled by their accomplishments, and it’s because of them that we are honored with awards like this one.”
Coyote is celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2016. Though his initial vision was for Coyote to be a software provider, Silver decided to go the brokerage route. His mission? To create a company unequivocally committed to service. Coyote, powered by the company’s “No Excuses” mentality, tailors its technology to meet customers’ specific needs—a huge benefit for food and beverage shippers, who use Coyote’s Collaborative Transportation Management (CTM) system for visibility, network planning, and more.
Individuals and organizations that earn a place within the “Food Logistics Champions: Rock Stars of the Supply Chain” award will be profiled in the March 2016 issue of Food Logistics as well as online at www.foodlogistics.com.
