Chicago Inno featured Coyote Co-Founders Jeff and Marianne Silver in an article highlighting three Chicago-based startups founded by husband-wife teams.
In 2006, Jeff and Marianne co-founded Coyote Logistics to provide an alternative to shippers—a company rich in innovation, imaginative in technology, and committed to service. “Coyote had to be a great business with a great culture, and to be a great business, Coyote had to solve important problems,” says Jodi Navta, Coyote’s chief marketing officer.
With a background in logistics and programming, Jeff, Coyote’s chief executive officer, developed Coyote’s proprietary technology and remains involved in the process today. Meanwhile, Marianne is Coyote’s chief people officer, and “is the mastermind behind Coyote’s world-class recruiting and HR program,” says Navta.
Since Coyote’s founding in 2006, the Silvers have used their respective skills to grow Coyote into a leading third-party logistics service provider, which was acquired by UPS in 2015.
